Adopt A Tree
Belmont Estate has been a pillar of agricultural excellence and cultural heritage in Grenada for centuries, playing a significant role in the country’s economy. As a leading producer of cocoa and nutmeg, our fields and infrastructure are the foundation of our operations. However, the devastation caused by Hurricane Beryl on July 1st, 2024, has posed unprecedented challenges for us.
The hurricane caused significant damage to the agricultural sector, particularly in the north. At Belmont Estate we lost about 9800 cocoa trees and 600 nutmeg trees, among other trees and damage of our farm support buildings.
In an effort to restore our farm, we invite you to participate in our Rehabilitation and Restoration Project, by adopting a cocoa or nutmeg tree on our farm.
